2014  END OF SEASON PRESENTATION LUNCH: CLIFF "RETIRES

 
The final get-together for 2014  (around a great lunch  Sunday November 23rd) had big turn-out of sailors and family.

 
Cliff and Jo presided over the photo competition (below) and the lunch let Cliff  reveal to old friends that the time has come to deflate his hulls and retire gracefully after 25 years of great sailing. Everyone joined to thank him for all he has contributed to Catapult, on and off the water, including his successful years as Chairman.

Cliff organised the sailing events for the TT series over a long period (and his dominance of the TT in the past is marked by the line of shields on the Travelling Trophy.) Jo's support has been greatly appreciated (including being Start Officer on shore at Ullswater, not always an easy task!) The shared hope is that the motorhome with Jo and Cliff will still roll up to some Catapult events as their travelling schedule allows.
